Our next TCBN meeting is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday June 5th in the evening as a cocktail mixer. Stay tuned for confirmation of date, time and place.

TCBN is undergoing a bit of a transformation. There have been less and less members coming to meetings, for a variety of reasons, so like any good business we have to adapt to the changing marketplace. We have 2 goals:

1. Serve TCBN members to help build your businesses

2. Cast the TCBN net wider to a larger audience

Stay tuned for more news but for now you should know that there will not be a May meeting but we are planning an after-work cocktail meeting for June (tentatively Tuesday, June 5th). All members are welcome, and as usual, new members are welcome too. TCBN does not charge membership fees and is volunteer-driven so don’t be shy about getting involved! Send us an article for the website, suggest a great location for a meeting, or send in a fresh idea for a meeting topic or format. TCBN is your networking association so come out and network!

The next TCBN event will be held on April 3rd, tomorrow (Tuesday) morning at 7:45am at 1965 Ste. Angelique in St. Lazare. Members will be invited to contribute their ideas on how to make TCBN a more effective and relevant networking group for all. TCBN is a volunteer-based group so it will only thrive if we feed it! We can get a lot done in an hour so bring your ideas, suggestions and marketing problems and we’ll put our heads together to solve them. All suggestions are welcome along with ideas on how to implement and manage them (e.g., advertising, cocktails, speakers, breakfasts, member business articles, TCBN business fair, ideas for sharing best practices, mentoring group, etc.). If you can’t attend the meeting but would still like to contribute, please send your thoughts to us at info(at)tcbn.ca

Our next TCBN meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 7th at 7:45am. Members will be invited to present more detailed “elevator pitches”, showing their products and services in more detail in 3 minutes or less. As always for our Tuesday mornings, we will be meeting in the basement conference room at the business centre on 1965 Ste. Angelique in St. Lazare. Feel free to bring samples, and laptops to showcase your work; however, to fit within your 3 minute time limit (and it will be timed!), the large screen will not be available. Handouts will be allowed only after each member has presented.

Our final event of the year is on Tuesday, December 6th. Rather than our regular morning meeting, we will be celebrating with a business lunch at the site of our previous business lunch, Camelia Four à Bois on 1710 chemin St-Angélique in St-Lazare.
