Katinka Michaud
Katinka Rubin Michaud loves photography – it’s her life’s passion. She feels truly blessed that photography has allowed her to meet so many interesting people, to participate in so many fascinating events. Katinka opened Kayanphoto in the picturesque town of Hudson, Quebec in 2006. She specializes in lifestyle family portraits, weddings and headshots.
Katinka has a Danish background and her fine art and photography training took place in Copenhagen and in Montreal. She strives for a photographic style that combines a cool, clean Scandinavian design esthetic with Montreal joie de vivre.
A photo session with Katinka is unhurried to allow sufficient time for a variety of poses and photographic ideas. Clients get to see their photographs in a password-protected online viewing gallery within two days of the shoot. Orders can be placed using a secure PayPal online payment system. All prints are made in-house, using the latest Photoshop techniques.
